This rally is held in conjunction with Apple Knoll Farm's Schooling Horse Trials. This means TWO entries are required:
1. Rally Entry: Club DC or center CA submits entry forms for all competitors. Forms are not completed by the individual competitors.
2. AKF Horse Trials Entry: Competitors must enter AKF's Schooling HT separately from entering in the Rally. This is done by the individual competitor.
Please also complete coach's and chaperone's forms and additional waivers which are available below.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
This is a one-day rally. Stalls are available to rent for those who wish to arrive the day before the competition.
Rally participants who wish to attend USPC championships in eventing must complete the USPC Eventing Affidavit as part of the requirements to qualify. Click on the link below to access the affidavit.
CHAPERONE'S FORM AND COACH'S FORM
Chaperones and coaches must complete the following forms. Please email signed forms to the rally organizer or provide them to the rally secretary on the day of the rally before competition begins.
- Chaperone's Form - To be completed by the chaperone and turned in with the rally entry for any team with members below the age of majority.
- Coach's Form - To be completed by each coach of a team or competitor who wishes to have an individual coach.
WAIVERS
Please complete the following waivers as appropriate and email them to the rally organizer or provide them to the rally secretary on the day of the rally before competition begins.
PAYMENT DETAILS
Competitor fees will be available here soon.
Stable managers are free because they are awesome!
Please know that rally fees are in addition to the fee to enter AKF's Schooling HT. You must pay that fee separately when you enter the AKF Schooling HT. Rally fees cover the cost of HM judges for the rally participants.
Rally payment should be made by the club or center and not by the individual competitors. Clubs/centers may pay via check or PayPal.
Refunds for rally entry fee will be given up to one week prior to the rally, except in the case of rider or horse injury or illness for which refunds will be given at any time. Please refer to the AKF Schooling HT rules for refunds of that entry fee.
If you have any questions about rally payment, please contact our regional treasurer, Tim Newman, at treasurer@cneponyclub.orgundefined.

SCHEDULE
This is an OUTDOOR rally and will be held RAIN or SHINE! (Remember: sunshine is lovely, but rain means NO BUGS!).
Tentative schedule: Showgrounds open at 7:00 am; HM starts at 8:00 am.
Schedule details will be available here soon.
DIVISIONS and TESTS
Divisions will be based on age. Any rating can be on a team.
We will have no more than 6 teams in a division.
Full division and test information is in the CNER 2025 Eventing Rally Omnibus (links provided above).
FOOD, WATER, and CLEAN-UP
There will be food on-site. However, having an abundance of snacks and water at your competitors' tent is strongly encouraged to keep up the energy of those hard-working riders and stable managers.
Water is available onsite for ponies (and horses) but may be far away and require transport via vehicle. We strongly recommend your competitors bring water for their ponies.
Water will be available for humans in the warm-up area and the neutral zone. We will have cups, please try to bring a reusable bottle to use instead of the disposable cups.
Manure and trash MUST be taken home. Please leave the show grounds as clean or cleaner than you found it.
NEUTRAL ZONE
This is a qualifying rally, which means we will be enforcing a Neutral Zone! The Neutral Zone will be designated on rally day. Tents and chairs are recommended for the Neutral Zone (in addition to the tents and chairs that clubs and centers should bring for rally competitors).
In the event the Neutral Zone is not close to the riding rings, we may allow tents and chairs near the rings if logistics allow. Please check with rally officials the morning of the rally before setting up any items near the rings. Remember: this will not be considered a neutral zone (just a fandamonium zone!).
