GAMES RALLY PREP MEETING

Wednesday, April 24 at 7:00 pm via Zoom

Open to all members, parents, and club/center leaders. We’ll cover:

  • What to expect at the rally including LIVE demonstrations!!
  • Expectations for Littles and for those riding in the Novice division
  • An overview of the schedule
  • Question and answer session at the end

You can also schedule a mounted games clinic with Sue. She’ll bring the equipment and she’ll even bring ponies!

QUIZ RALLY WAS AN UNDENIABLE SUCCESS!!

Held on Sunday, April 7, 9am - 5 pm, Chickering School, Dover, MA

What a wonderful first rally of 2024! We had 12 teams with 43 total competitors. The day progressed seamlessly, everyone had fun, and many competitors will be representing CNER in Quiz at the USPC Championships in July. Whoop whoop!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!!

Many thanks to our organizers, Susan Hanna, Kirsten Fleming, and Andrea Crespi for putting this together from scratch, and to our parents who were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the day.

Did you know that there is overnight stabling available at the showgrounds for Games Rally, Dressage Rally, and Show Jump Rally? Also camping is available onsite and close by at Games Rally and Show Jump Rally.

EQUINE DENTISTRY DAY

Sunday, April 21, 10am - 3pm, 5 Bay Meadow Rd, Berkley, MA

Cranberry Country Pony Club has graciously opened this unmounted clinic to the region.

Dr Laura Parisio-Wood will be teaching while she floats a horse's teeth. Members will learn about dental floating, get to feel for points on teeth, the tongue, and more! Remember: The teeth are the start point for all Digestion!

GROTON PONY CLUB SCHOOLING HORSE TRIALS

Sunday, May 12, 7 am – 5 pm, Hazel Grove Park, Groton, MA

Join Groton Pony Club for this very fun, low stress, and friendly horse trials.  2-phase and 3-Phase divisions offered for 12" through Novice, or ride your choice of dressage test (20x40m arena) or Stadium Jump rounds. 100% of the proceeds support the equine learning objectives of the Groton Pony Club members. FITCH FARM SUMMER HORSEMANSHIP CAMP

June 24 – June 28, 9 am – 2 pm, Fitch Farm, Middleboro, MA

August 12 – August 16, 9 am – 2 pm, Fitch Farm, Middleboro, MA

Fitch Farm, our newest CNER riding center, is offering three separate weeks of Summer Horsemanship Day Camp.

This camp is for children ages 5 to 12 years old. No riding experience necessary! Camp runs from 9 am – 2 pm and includes riding lessons each day (ride the farm's ponies or bring your own), crafts, games, and lots of farm animal babies to cuddle! What's not to love about that!!

RABT and CARLISLE ACADEMY JUNIOR EVENT CAMP

August 6 – August 8, 8 am – 5 pm, RABT/Carlisle Academy, Lyman, Me

Open to riders of all skill levels and all ages! Confident and more advanced participants bring their own horses and ride at Rest and Be Thankful Farm (RABT). Younger and/or less experienced participants ride at Carlisle Academy and either bring their own horses or ride Carlisle Academy horses.

NORFOLK HUNT PONY CLUB CAMP

August 12 – August 16, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, Apple Knoll Farm, Millis, MA

NHPC’s camp is open to regional members (if space is available). This is a day camp for riders with stalls available for horses to spend the night. Mounted activities, including clinics, and unmounted activities are included.
